A few points, so you get the best results from your
Wazinator electro acoustic instrument.

Firstly some cautions -

Caution with that BASS. Make sure your system can handle
low frequency signals. As a rule of thumb always listen to your
speakers and adjust the volume accordingly. Also watch your
mixing desk meters, aim for unity gain and allow some
headroom for extra heavy stomping.
Guitar amps are not designed to reproduce bass signals so
be careful when plugging your Wazinator into your beloved
guitar amp. Use your ears and stop immediately if it sounds
distorted.  All Wazinators are fitted with an air valve that opens
when the stomping pad is overloaded. This lets air out of the
chamber before it is translated to an audio signal. Even with
this safety feature, caution is needed to avoid damage to
speakers and amplifiers.

Caution with Heat. As with guitars, don’t leave your
Wazinator in the car during summer. Exposure to excessive
heat will stress the timber, melt the glues and melt the rubber
backing. If you do experience a “melt down” of the rubber
backing it can be removed and replaced, although it is not an
enjoyable exercise.

Always use your Wazinator on a flat and stable surface.
Too much excessive pressure on the timber pad without
adequate support from a flat stage or floor could result in
cracking the timber. The Timber pad is designed to carry the
full weight of one person BUT only on a flat and stable floor.
Caution using sticks. Please note that if you use sticks in a
percussive fashion on the timber of the Wazinator it will sound
great BUT will leave indentation marks. The Wazinator in not
intended for use in this manner.

Sticky sound. The varnish or paint on a new Wazinator may
make an undesirable sticky sound with some shoes. This
sticky effect will disappear as the varnish gets scuffed from
usage.

Braking-in period. After about 30hrs of continuous stomping
the timber and the pickup of the Wazinator will loosen up and
the tone will improve. As the new timber and pickup are
broken in, the frequency response of the output becomes
deeper and the gain increased slightly. This is similar to a new
PA speaker system or a new car when optimum performance
is realized after a brake-in period.

Large stage application. When setting up the Wazinator on
a stage with a remote front of house mixing desk, request a
single DI (Direct Injection) box to send the output signal to the
PA.
Extra round bottom end. A normal jack to jack guitar lead is all
you need to connect to your PA, DI or bass amp. But if you’re
looking for more bass try using a specialized lead to run into a
PA mic input. Use a lead with 1/4 inch mono jack to male XLR
jack. The mic input of most PAs allows for greater bottom end
without additional EQ boosting.
